Lavandin Abrial Lavandula hybrida (1880 – 10ml)
Lavandin is a hybrid cross of true lavender and spike lavender. The aroma is similar to Lavender but less floral and more herbaceous. Cultivated by cuttings, much more lavandin is in production than true lavender because it is easier to grow and produces a high yield of essential oil.
It is a useful oil which has many of the properties of true lavender at a fraction of the price. For psychological and spiritual uses True Lavender would always be the first choice but for a diffuser blend or minor first aid situation (cuts, scrapes and bites etc) Lavandin is ideal.
Higher in camphor than the other types, Lavandin Abrial has a fresher, more herbaceous aroma. Pungent and stimulating and perhaps a little more ÔmasculineÕ than the sweeter types.
This is a pure therapeutic-quality aromatherapy essential oil from France, and is obtained from the Blossom/Plant.
