Frankincense (Mexico), Copal Santo Essential Oil

Benefits & How To Use
Frankincense (Mexico), Copal Santo Bursera copallifera (3007 – 5ml) (also known as Copal Santo)
Copal Santo (Mexican Frankincense) is a member of the Burseraceae family along with Frankincense, Myrrh, Elemi and Palo Santo. The aroma is reminiscent of Frankincense but with an appealing freshness which includes a hint of ‘marzipan’ (almond). It is unmistakeably related to Frankincense but with an effect perhaps more similar to Palo Santo. The essential oil of this species has traditionally been used for its anti-inflammatory effects and its chemistry would suggest support for the respiratory system. Also one to try for meditation! Inhalation of the oil seems to go to the heart for most people, and it seems to have a protective quality.
