Copaiba Balsam Copaifera officinalis (1280 – 10ml)

Copaiba Balsam is a traditional remedy from the South American rain forests. The resin is harvested from wild trees by tapping (similar to the way rubber trees are tapped). It is a remarkable oil known for its strong support for the neuromuscular system, and can also be used in respiratory blends.

The oil is rich in beta-caryophyllene which is known to have anti-inflammatory effects.

If blending for fragrance its warm honeyed base note acts as a fixative for the lighter top notes. It is soothing, balancing and uplifting, and blends well with Rose, Jasmine, Ylang Ylang.

Note: This oil is the pure resin from the tree. Distilled copaiba is also available.

This is a pure therapeutic-quality wild-crafted aromatherapy essential oil from Brazil, and is obtained by natural exudation from the resin from the tree.

I find Oshadhi oils to be simply exquisite. Their fragrances are so rich and full bodied. It is easy to immediately discern the difference their insistence on extraction by slow distillation makes. The larger molecules make the oils like beautifully aged, smooth fine wines! Last week I ordered 1ml o ...
