Pressed from the beautiful blue flowers, Borage oil has the highest gamma-linolenic acid content of any oil. This helps to regenerate the skin’s natural barrier function and prevent moisture loss. Borage oil has a firming effect which acts against wrinkles, dryness and other signs of ageing. It is an excellent oil for facial skincare, especially for mature skin.
High levels of phytochemicals and other nutrients give a calming effect which is beneficial for the joints and connective tissues. Borage oil also has antioxidant properties provided by ferulic acid. Borage is an astringent oil which feels dry on the skin and has a tightening, toning effect. Keep refrigerated.
