Basti Marma Oil is for use in connection with Basti marma point, one of the ‘Maha’ (great) marma points. Basti is called ‘bladder’, but also ‘home’. It is the seat of government of the great tendon marma, the bladder. Basti controls the second Chakra, the excretions (ApanaVata) especially of the urinary organs, but also of the colon and menstruation. It stores the sexual energy and controls the functioning of the sex organs. As one of the three main Marmas it is responsible for a wide range of physical functions. The main energy channel, springing forth of it. The Basti Marma is the energetic source of the Basti Nadi. The bladder meridian, starts left and right on the inner eye corner and runs paired over the frontal sinus, skull, neck, back and legs to the outer side of the little toes. It also watches over the muscles and the body fat. Basti has a strong balancing effect on Vata, warm good feeling in Basti, good for kidney problems, all Vata problems
