Benefits & How To Use
Ylang Ylang Complete Organic Cananga odorata (3030)
Ylang Ylang has a sweet, floral and heady aroma, and is soothing and relaxing. It is a powerful ally against everyday stresses and misery, and blends well with Lemon and Mandarin. A little goes a long way with this oil.
Ylang Ylang is distilled over a long time (up to 14 hours) and oils with noticeably different qualities appear at different times. These ‘fractions’ are then carefully blended together to form the ‘Complete’ oil which is probably the one most used therapeutically. It has a wonderfully rounded aroma and is indeed ‘complete’.
This is a pure therapeutic-quality certified organic aromatherapy essential oil from Madagascar, and is obtained from the blossoms of the plant.

FAQs
What is Ylang Ylang Complete Organic Essential Oil, and where does it come from?
It is the essential oil of Cananga odorata, from the Annonaceae family. The oil is certified organic and comes from Madagascar. It is obtained from the blossoms.
Why is it called a 'Complete' oil?
The blossoms are distilled over a long period, and the different fractions collected during that time are blended back together. That gives a rounded aroma and a fuller profile than a single fraction on its own. It is the form most often used therapeutically.
What does it smell like, and what does it blend well with?
The fragrance is sweet, floral and heady, with sweet, spicy notes. It is often described as soothing and relaxing. It blends well with Lemon and Mandarin.
Are there any safety points I should know before using it?
It is a strong oil, so it should be well diluted. Too much can cause headaches or nausea. It is unsuitable for babies and children.

I find Oshadhi oils to be simply exquisite. Their fragrances are so rich and full bodied. It is easy to immediately discern the difference their insistence on extraction by slow distillation makes. The larger molecules make the oils like beautifully aged, smooth fine wines! Last week I ordered 1ml o ...
